Tips & Tricks:

  • To keep burgers tender and juicy – do not overmix the meat when making patties. A gentle mix is all that is needed.
  • When grilling, do not move the burgers around – cook on one side for 3-4 minutes then flip and cook on the other side.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • Raw hamburger patties can be frozen in a single layer on parchment paper or foil on a cookie sheet.
  • When cooking frozen patties, allow more cooking time per side. Cook until the internal temperature is 160 degrees F.
  • To keep this recipe dairy-free, top the burger with vegan cheese. I get the vegan cheese to melt on my hamburger patty by microwaving it on top of the burger for 20-30 seconds before putting it on the bun!
